Whose hole-in-one did Ben Hogan ignore at the Masters?

I heard a golfer interviewed a long time ago. He related a story about playing in the Masters paired with Ben Hogan. This player made a hole-in-one at #12. After the hole, Hogan didn't acknowledge the hole-in-one; instead, he made some remark about his disappointment at hie performance on the hole. Can someone give me more details on this incident?|||I don't know about that incident, but it sounds kind of funny.|||The story goes that Hogan was marking the players card for the round and after the hole was finished Hogan asked the guy what he had got on the hole. Hogan wasn't playing games. He legitimately didn't know the guy had got an ace

Hogan was so focused on his own play, that the guys hole in one hadn't even registered with him.

Hogan didn't, as you put it ignore him.

The story is used to show the cocoon that Hogan would go into while playing a hole.

The Scots gave Hogan a nick name that pretty well encapsulates Hogans on course persona

They called him "The wee iceman" because he showed so little emotion and didn't talk much around the entire course.|||I know the story but I can't remember who it was. Not to compare myself to Hogan but I did the same thing once. I was playing in the NCAA National Championship tournament when my playing partner made a hole in one. I was in a foul mood about my round and I never acknowledged the fact it happened. I saw him later in the week and congratulated him.
