What's the best animation program for cartoons on Apple computers?

My partner and I bought this horrible animation program, that I will not mention by name. But from it and my illustrations we made a cartoon. It's called Unemployed and focuses on Kate and Ben Hogan, who had a seemingly perfect life, until Ben loses his job.

We've been doing okay on youtube and whatnot (search unemployed cartoon if your curious), but the animation program we've been using is in all honestly useless. Can anyone recommend a better one?

Thanks.|||Well, if you're doing object-oriented animation, Flash is the standard. Toonboom has Mac software, too, which is geared more toward traditional drawn animation. All of those are pricey, though. Smith Micro makes Anime Studio, but as I understand it, it's pretty much about attaching your picture to 'bones' and moving it that way, which seems pretty limited. Still, if that would be enough for what you want...

Wish I had a better answer for you. Have you considered drawing by hand, scanning in, inking/coloring in a paint program and compiling the still images into a film in iMovie or something?
